To the Fishers Island Community:
Sadly, we have decided to cancel the 2020 Walsh Park Open golf tournament. Under the current circumstances and in consideration of the health and safety of the Fishers Island community, we feel that canceling this year’s event is the right thing to do.
We look forward to seeing everyone again next July!

Update May 12, 2020:
During the COVID-19 pandemic, BD management has had frequent phone meetings with Walsh Park and subcontractors regarding the status of the Ferry Freight Apartment project. They have been ordering materials in advance, working on water service permitting aspects, and planning the next steps.
BD has known that the housing has exempt status and that they could have been moving ahead but has chosen to do it safely and efficiently.
They plan to start to have some of their workers and subcontractors back on site Monday, May 18th, and will monitor the process carefully.
