On July 26th, the Walsh Park Board invited the Fishers Island Community to an update presentation and discussion regarding the potential purchase of the FI School Property.
The conversation at the Community Center focused on Walsh Park’s potential partnership with the Fishers Island School District for the development of four year-round housing units on property currently owned by the School on the residential block bordered by Whistler Ave., Equestrian Ave., and Winthrop Drive.
Walsh Park board members and representatives from our design partner, Tod Williams & Billie Tsien Architects, provided a presentation and then answered questions from the community.
